Concealed Weapon Slot

The options for planning increase as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to prepare the best mission for every challenge.
Gear Slot
The gear slots will rapidly get full early in the game, resulting in the frequently-repeated message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message stops Max to select new equipment until the previous items are removed or more space has been accumulated. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenges. Since many of these challenges are overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it could take a while to reach the most slots for inventory in the game.
Each player has up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as Grenades in a grouping) only takes up one Gear Slot.

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups that are on the map. These locations allow you to store an item that does not fit in your slot for gear or weapon and then retrieve it later.
These pickups are useful when your task requires you to pass through a frisk or if you have a weapon on you that could cause suspicion. But, you are only able to keep one item at a time at an agency pickup location.
This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions, simply contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you've reached the marker be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
